The Woodbridge High Counseling Team works collaboratively with all students, parents, administration, teachers, and the community to prepare students for their post-high school goals. Updates

Reporting Academic Changes to the University of California:

If you submitted an application to the UC and you have since earned a D or F grade in the Fall semester or changed your planned classes submitted to the UC, you may need to contact the individual campuses to which you applied. Please read the following information carefully and reach out to UC campus admissions offices directly with any questions.

If there are changes to your academic record:

If there are changes to your academic record after you submit your application, you might need to notify the campuses to which you’ve applied.

If you change schools or add, drop, or change the level of a course after you submit your application, you should notify all the campuses you applied to except for UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC San Diego and UC Santa Barbara.
If you failed to earn a C or better in a course after you submit your application, you should notify all the campuses you applied to except for UC Berkeley and UCLA.
If you receive an offer of admission, be sure to confirm with the campus admission office that they are aware of any deficient grades or schedule changes.

Keep in mind: The UC cannot guarantee that a campus can go back to review an application after correspondence has been received. Make sure to save a copy of your correspondence, just in case.

Campus instructions & websites for reporting changes:

UC Berkeley will not accept post-submission updates. Updates will not be considered in the application reading process.
UC Davis - Visit the MyAdmissions Login page for more information about making post-submission updates.
UC Irvine - To report low grades earned or signicant schedule changes, login to your UC Irvine Applicant Portal.
UC Merced - Academic updates are allowed if you are admitted. To make updates, use the "myCourseUpdate" link in your UC Merced Connect portal.
UCLA - Some post-submission updates will be accepted. Visit the UCLA Contact Form further details.
UC Riverside
UC San Diego will not accept post-submission updates. Updates will not be considered in the application reading process.
UC Santa Barbara will not accept post-submission updates. Updates will not be considered in the application reading process.

Financial Aid Resources

FAFSA/CADAA is Open!
Filing a financial aid application is the first step toward college success and helps eligible students qualify for federal, state, and campus-based aid as well as some private scholarships. The deadline to apply for financial aid is Monday, March 3, 2025. You are required to meet this deadline to receive a Cal Grant High School Entitlement award. If your student is planning on attending Irvine Valley College, the FAFSA must be completed in order to be eligible for the IVC Promise Program.

Students and their contributors should apply on the Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) web page at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa or on the CSAC Undocumented/Dreamer Student webpage at https://www.csac.ca.gov/undocumented-dreamer-students.
